This is a CD package we designed for our new favorite band Buffalo Stance. The CD is called Sugar Glider. Budgets were low so we used the pre-fab Arigato which kind of expands like a sugar glider. We created a large clay construction on top of an oversized Arigato template, photographed it and scaled it to fit. All of the characters are based on Buffalo Stance/Jamey Robinson illustrations from around 6th grade to the present, including, skeletons, keyboards, blobby dudes, bombs, and hand-lettering (which is based on the imaginary company he created in elementary school called Synchronix). Unfortunately 25 years later this is Synchronix. Not quite his vision. The lyric booklets are printed on a RISO GR1700 with 4 colors using one of our new favorite typefaces Frankfurter. The CD will be available this Spring and is unlike anything you’ve ever heard, ever. Find it.
